What are the maximum allowed dimensions for a parcel with an international destination with PostNL?

You can send a package with a maximum size of 100 x 70 x 58 cm to countries within the European Union. For an XL surcharge of €4.95, it is possible to send a package to a country within the European Union with a maximum size of 175 x 78 x 58 cm.

Additionally, you can send a package with a maximum size of 100 x 50 x 50 cm to countries outside the EU. For packages to countries outside the EU, an XL size is not available.

For all shipments abroad, the maximum girth is 300 cm (Total girth = length + 2 x width + 2 x height).

If the package exceeds this maximum size and you still send it as a parcel, you risk a surcharge of €83.68 because PostNL will then have to transfer the shipment to the freight network.

For larger shipments, you can send the package as a pallet shipment or contact us to inquire about the possibility of sending it as a general cargo shipment.
