When is a peak surcharge calculated?

Since 2020, several carriers have implemented a peak surcharge on parcels shipped to destinations within the Netherlands, within Europe, outside Europe, and parcels returned by the recipient. Starting from 2022, there is also a peak surcharge for letterbox parcels. This peak surcharge applies every year from November 19th to December 31st.
