What are DHL Parcel Connect's packaging terms and conditions?
To avoid damages and surcharges, we recommend not tying parcels together with, for example, straps, tape or rope.
Tips:
Use good internal packaging material, for example, bubble wrap, protective flakes, styrofoam and/or wads of paper. This ensures your product is adequately protected. When selecting the correct shipping boxes for your products, always try to select the box that would result in as little empty space as possible. This ensures that products are not moving around in the box and considerably reduces the risk of damage.
Use a box that matches the size of the contents. Why?
Box too small: the box may crack.
Box too large: contents may slide and get damaged. Are the contents not heavier than 10 kg and not fragile? Use a box made of sturdy, single-ply corrugated cardboard. Good idea to reuse other boxes! Ensure the box is not damaged, dented or torn. Remove old addresses, barcodes, labels, etc.
