You can send parcels with a maximum weight of 23kg to destinations in the Netherlands.
For an XL surcharge of €3,18 you can send a parcel with a maximum weight of between 23kg and 30kg. This option is called ‘XL parcel’ and you can select this option under ‘Shipping options’ when creating a new shipment. If the parcel is heavier than 30kg and you sent it as a parcel shipment, you run the risk of having to pay a surcharge of €73,17 because PostNL will have to transfer the shipment to the freight network. If you want to send a shipment that exceeds the XL parcel restrictions, you can create a pallet shipment or contact us to find out the options for sending it as a general cargo shipment.
