Adjusted carrier drop-off and delivery times.

During the spring season, it’s busier than usual. You can assist carriers by presenting parcels on time. Take note of the modified drop-off and delivery days. Reduce the risk of delays by submitting shipments on time and spreading them throughout the week. Avoid Mondays and deliver parcels as early as possible in the morning.

Changes Collection Service.

  • During the spring season, there are some changes in the Collection Service that may affect your logistics process.
  • If you plan to have more parcels picked up than usual around Easter, King’s Day, Ascension Day, and Pentecost, please provide your schedule in advance through the case overview in your account.
  • Pack orders as small and efficiently as possible to optimize space usage, minimizing the need for unnecessary roll cages or mailbags. Need packaging materials? Visit our webshop.
  • Split packages for the Netherlands and Belgium if applicable to your shipments.

How to prepare optimally for the spring season.

  • Ensure a transparent and well-organized return process. Extend your return period to at least 30 days, giving customers more time to return their products and allowing parcels to arrive more gradually at carrier depots.
  • Package orders as compactly and efficiently as possible. This helps prevent unnecessary delays and surcharges, such as the manual processing fee.
  • Have parcels delivered to pick-up locations. This increases the chances of successful delivery and allows you to benefit from better rates. For example, PostNL offers a €0.25 discount per parcel, and DPD provides more competitive rates for deliveries to a DPD location.

  • Set up your Track & Trace email and page properly, so customers are always informed about the status of their order.
  • Clearly manage your customers’ expectations and be cautious about offering delivery guarantees.
    This helps avoid potential disappointment.

  • Do you have a question, want to report damage, or is your parcel still missing after seven days?
Then you can submit a case via the case overview in your account. This allows us to assist you in the best possible way.
