Boost your e-commerce this spring.
Spring is around the corner, the perfect time to make your e-commerce thrive. In collaboration with PostNL, DHL, UPS, and DPD, we’ve made preparations to ensure a successful season. Check out the key updates and tips to boost your e-commerce during this period!
Adjusted carrier drop-off and delivery times.
During the spring season, it’s busier than usual. You can assist carriers by presenting parcels on time. Take note of the modified drop-off and delivery days. Reduce the risk of delays by submitting shipments on time and spreading them throughout the week. Avoid Mondays and deliver parcels as early as possible in the morning.
Changes Collection service.
- During the spring season, there are some changes in the Collection Service that may affect your logistics process.
- If you plan to have more parcels picked up than usual around Easter, King’s Day, Ascension Day, and Pentecost, please provide your schedule in advance through the case overview in your account.
- Pack orders as small and efficiently as possible to optimize space usage, minimizing the need for unnecessary roll cages or mailbags. Need packaging materials? Visit our webshop.
- Split packages for the Netherlands and Belgium if applicable to your shipments.
Prepare optimally for the spring season.
- Utilize the ‘Delivery to a Pickup Location’ option, allowing the consumer to choose where and when to pick up the parcel.
- Establish a transparent and well-organized return process. Extend your return period to at least 30 days, giving the customer more time to return the product, and ensuring parcels arrive at carriers more staggered.
- Package orders as small and efficiently as possible to prevent unnecessary delays and surcharges, such as manual processing fees.
- Set up your Track & Trace email and page to keep the customer informed about their order’s status.
- Clearly manage customer expectations and be cautious about offering delivery guarantees to prevent potential disappointments.
- If you have a question, need to report damage, or if your parcel is still missing after seven days, you can submit a case through the case overview in your account. This way, we can assist you most effectively.
