Parcels that you send abroad through MyParcel are insured by default. The insurance and Signature upon receipt are automatically included when you create a shipment with an international destination. You don’t have to set this up yourself. At MyParcel, we have two categories for sending parcels abroad, countries within the European Union and the rest of the world.

Conditions for sending insured parcels abroad.

  • Parcels with destinations in the European Union are insured up to a purchase value of €500 by default.
  • Parcels with destinations in the rest of the world are insured up to a purchase value of €200 by default.
  • A signature upon receipt is automatically included for all destinations.
  • You cannot decide on and change the insurance amount for parcels sent abroad.

Costs for sending insured parcels abroad.

For sending insured parcels abroad, there is an additional fee on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.
